10 Instagram posts that prove Dubai really is for everyone

It's a common misconception that if a destination has incredible architecture, modern high-rise buildings and a flair for luxury, it must only cater to the crème de la crème.

It’s a common misconception that if a destination has incredible architecture, modern high-rise buildings and a flair for luxury, it must only cater to the crème de la crème.

Nothing could be further from the truth for the majority of these misrepresented destinations which actually offer the very best travel experiences to holidaymakers from all walks of life.

This is particularly true for Dubai which not only has the challenge of convincing travellers it is more than just a stopover destination, but that it really is for everyone.

On a mission to demonstrate its affordability, Dubai Tourism teamed up with popular Instagrammer, Liz Carlson, for the #helloworldRELAY. Together they posted eye catching and exciting shots that prove everyone can enjoy the city’s high rise buildings, exotic indigenous culture, golden beaches and vibrant nightlife.

KarryOn sifted through the incredible shots and found 10 that really showcase Dubai’s accessibility:

1. Falcon selfies are free – just need to get the bird on board

2. Desert sunsets are also free

3. As are those gorgeous golden sunrises

4. It doesn’t cost a thing to capture those Dubai sand dunes

5. No need to fork out any cash to enjoy the smells of Dubai at the Deira Spice Souk

6. And enjoying traditional Mezza at the Mezza House is available from as little as AU$8

7. It costs more to do Sydney’s SKYWALK than it is to get an epic view at the Burj Khalifa (from AU$75)

8. And a trip to the Dubai Aquarium costs just $45 per person
