A dash of West Hollywood glamour comes to Sydney

An exclusive cocktail event, attended by media and industry influencers, was held last week in Sydney to celebrate the launch of a new line of Nookie swimwear inspired by West Hollywood.

An exclusive cocktail event, attended by media and industry influencers, was held last week in Sydney to celebrate the launch of a new line of Nookie swimwear inspired by West Hollywood.

The night was hosted by Visit West Hollywood together with leading Australian fashion designer, Nikita Sernack, who has called her new line of stunning Nookie swimwear collection West Hollywood Forever.

KarryOn were in attendance at the glamorous event, which was held in a stylish warehouse space in Chippendale decorated with a white grand piano and sexy bikini models showing off the latest Nookie swimwear.

Guests in attendance were treated to cocktails, canapés, salad – lots and lots of salad – and the velvety tones of a Christina Aguilera sound-a-like.

With an abundance of A-list celebrities choosing WeHo (as West Hollywood is affectionately known) as the place to eat, sleep and party, it’s no surprise the collection was photographed in this destination.

“The energy and atmosphere in WeHo is invigorating, so designing a swimwear collection inspired by the fabulous rooftop pools and incredible hotels was a dream.”

Nikita Sernack, Australian fashion Designer

Director of Communications for Visit West Hollywood, Andy Keown, is likewise delighted with the result of partnering with Nookie, saying that the West Hollywood Forever collection “captures the quintessential WeHo lifestyle – a place where fashion and entertainment converge; where LA’s trendsetters spend their days basking in the Californian sunshine poolside.”

Just recently, The Bachelor’s original loved-up couple, Tim Robards and Anna Heinrich, had a blast on a recent romantic holiday in celebrity hotspot West Hollywood to film for their YouTube channel show ‘Tim and Anna Escape’.
