Wackadoo! Bluey’s World Brisbane is now open, for real life

Bluey fans, Brisbane’s turned blue(y) with the launch of the eagerly anticipated Bluey’s World Brisbane at Northshore Hamilton on 12 November 2024. The immersive attraction brings all the Brisbane ‘burbs, show sets and landmarks to life, for real life.

The one-of-a-kind guided immersive experience features the Heeler family’s iconic Queenslander home, backyard and beyond with multiple rooms and games for an interactive adventure.

Ludo Studio Producer Sam Moor said: “The team behind Bluey spent hours and hours meticulously designing and drawing the backgrounds and neighbourhoods for the TV show that the whole world has come to love.”

“So, we’re thrilled to now be able to give fans the opportunity to literally step into the world the team created – for real life. It’s really special and exciting for everyone.”

The launch of the brand-new experience included the Ludo Studio creative team, the show creators, plus Mum and Dad aka Chilli and Bandit character voice actors Melanie Zanetti and David McCormack.

All the hallmark touches were on show, including the newly wrapped Bluey and Bingo ‘CityDog’ ferries, the fluffy duck cake (IYKYK), ‘Granny’ mobiles and Bluey and Bingo themselves.

Guests were also treated to a Bluey-themed fireworks display plus a special musical performance by Bluey composer Joff Bush with Australian musician and songwriter Meg Washington, entertainer and dancer Emma Watkins and musician Jazz Darcy.

“It’s such a special moment to see Bluey’s World come to life right here in my hometown where Bluey was created,” Zanetti (Chilli) said.

“This show has such a big heart and it’s incredible to see families stepping into Bluey’s universe and experiencing that same magic up close. I’m incredibly proud to be part of something that brings so much joy to people of all ages, and there’s no better place to celebrate it than here in Brisbane.”

Bluey’s World Brisbane is open from now until September 2025.
