Jimmy explores the different culinary experiences Australia has on offer.

Unlike Richman – his ‘Man VS Food’ counterpart – Jimmy will not take part in eating challenges, but rather challenge viewers to visit Australia and experience the country’s culinary treats for themselves.

The three episodes series will see Jimmy discover Australia’s wild plants and food, explore new tastes brought in by the first settlers and examine the impact new science is having on Australian cuisine.

He will also chat to local chefs, brewers, vinters and farmers as well as showcase Australia’s natural landscapes – from the remote Kimberley to tropical wetlands.

Jimmy describes Australian cuisine as a ‘real fusion’ of different cultures.

“It’s almost impossible now to say what a “typical” Australian dish is! But their appetite for innovation and experimentation is a lesson to us all.”

During the first episode, Jimmy will explore the wild food of Australia in Western Australia and the Northern Territory such as kangaroo sausages and a bush camp cooking in true outback style.
