Cathay Pacific Sydney-Hong Kong return flights back from 1 November

Cathay Pacific has announced that from 1 November 2021, fully vaccinated Australian citizens, permanent residents and their immediate family can fly to Sydney quarantine-free. However, if you're headed for a Hong Kong stay, you'll still need to quarantine for 14-days on arrival.

Cathay Pacific has announced that from 1 November 2021, fully vaccinated Australian citizens, permanent residents and their immediate family can fly to Sydney quarantine-free. However, if you’re headed for a Hong Kong stay, you’ll still need to quarantine for 14-days on arrival.

Having been operating at a heavily reduced capacity since March 2020 as a result of the pandemic, the airline has announced it will be offering increased capacity across ten flights a week to/from Sydney for eligible travellers from 1 November.

However, if you’re flying to Hong Kong to stay from Australia, you’ll still need to provide a negative COVID-19 test result 72 hours before departing and spend 14-days in a quarantine hotel when you arrive.

  • Flight CX101 – Hong Kong – Sydney – departing daily at 2355 from 1 November
  • Flight CX100 – Sydney – Hong Kong – departing at 1545 daily from 1 November
  • Flight CX139 – Hong Kong – Sydney – departing at 0845 on Tuesday, Friday and Sunday from 1 November
  • Flight CX138 – Sydney – Hong Kong departing at 2220 on Tuesday, Friday and Sunday from 1 November
