Chelsea FC's cuddly G'Day in Sydney

Sydney's world famous Harbour was on display yesterday, as Chelsea FC Football Manager, José Mourinho and the coaching staff enjoyed a cruise aboard a luxury super yacht.

Sydney’s world famous Harbour was on display yesterday, as Chelsea FC Football Manager, José Mourinho and the coaching staff enjoyed a cruise aboard a luxury super yacht.

The cruise took place during a break from the team’s training in the lead up to the match with Sydney FC at ANZ Stadium on Tuesday 2 June 2015.

The English Premier League champions, Chelsea FC, arrived in Sydney over the weekend.

Since, they have trained vigorously for the match, while taking some time out to explore the city’s offerings.

And José Mourinho’s he had the chance to meet Maci the Koala and Amber the Quokka when Featherdale Sanctuary visited the team during their Sydney stay.

According to Destination NSW, the upcoming Chelsea match reinforces Sydney’s reputation as Australia’s home of world-class sporting events with the State securing world-class matches across soccer, rugby, badminton, netball, cricket, and major league baseball.

So far this year, Sydney and NSW has already played host to the Hurley Australian Open of Surfing at Manly Beach, the AFC Asian Cup, the ICC Cricket World Cup, State of Origin and Tottenham Hotspur’s friendly clash with Sydney FC.
