Travellers from around the galaxy will be able to enjoy outer-worldly alcoholic drinks in a Star Wars-themed cantina coming to Disneyland & California Adventure Park.
Oga’s Cantina, which has been described as a “safe haven” for galactic smugglers and a stopping point for authorities working under the First Order, will open in 2019 as an addition to Star Wars: Galaxy Edge.
The new establishment will be the only alcohol-serving location within the Disneyland side of the theme park – currently, libations for adults are sold in the Beer Garden in California Adventure and the Tiki Bar located in the pool area of Disneyland Hotel.
Park visitors needn’t worry about alcohol consumers behaving unruly in or around Oga’s Cantina, as Disney Parks has promised to enforce a “strict code of conduct” that’ll keep patrons in check.
Aside from “famous concoctions created with exotic ingredients”, the venue will also have a drink menu for children and a resident DJ in the form of a pilot droid called RX-24.
“Get ready to listen to some unique music, taste the best drinks in the galaxy, and surround yourself with a colorful cast of characters. You never know what will happen at the cantina!”
Oga’s Cantina will also open in Walt Disney World Resort’s Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in 2019.
