Etihad to help promote Abu Dhabi tourism

The Abu Dhabi-based carrier has signed a partnership with the Abu Dhabi Tourism & Culture Authority (TCA) to promote the city as a year-round tourist destination.

The Abu Dhabi-based carrier has signed a partnership with the Abu Dhabi Tourism & Culture Authority (TCA) to promote the city as a year-round tourist destination.

The partnership, which includes working with the firm Miral Asset Management who oversees the development and management of a range of hospitality, sports, entertainment, retail and leisure destinations on Yas Islan, will strengthen the ties between the three partners to help drive more inbound tourism to Abu Dhabi and help promote it as a top-class stopover destination.

The ceremonial signing took place at the iconic Ferrari World theme park on Yas Island, and was attended by senior managment and board members from Etihad Airways, including Etihad Airway’s Chief Commercial Officer Peter Baumgartner:

In addition to undertaking various strategic activities including co-branded marketing and communication, the exclusive partnership will seek cruise industry support, establish loyalty and affinity programmes, and promote Abu Dhabi as the destination for business and leisure events within the Emirate and around the world.
