Travellers are being advised to check the status of their flights to and from San Francisco International Airport (SFO) this week as smoke from California’s wildfires hazes over the gateway.
Over the weekend, some 100 services were cancelled from SFO, while another 15 percent of flights were delayed by an average of 60-75 minutes.
Airport officials said flight disruptions may continue this week as the nearby North Bay fires affect air quality and visibility.
