Flight Centre Australia has today kicked off a nationwide campaign with Tourism New Zealand to promote self-drive touring through the natural wonders of the South Island.

Flight Centre Australia has today kicked off a nationwide campaign with Tourism New Zealand to promote self-drive touring through the natural wonders of the South Island.

The large scale advertising campaign will feature across TV, Magazine and Newspapers, Social media and on Flight Centre’s website as well as in-store at all retail outlets.

The campaign aims to send more Aussies across the Tasman by educating and inspiring travellers to the benefits of getting away from the everyday and touring further south from Christchurch to re-charge and refresh.

New Zealand’s South Island boasts a wide range of unique experiences with something for everyone.

Whether you’re up for adventure, meeting locals and experiencing Kiwi culture, to unwinding, or just discovering something different from your norm…. Exploring by road is the perfect way to explore the magical land at your own pace.

Why? Because for starters you get to see views like this instead of traffic jams.

Incredible scenes awaits at every turn

As part of the campaign, 40 Flight Centre retail Consultants were picked and split up into five groups to go on an incredible six day famil hosted by Tourism New Zealand to sample the itienraries for themselves.

I even managed to sneak myself onboard the famil too. Read on to see what we all got up to.

But it’s not just all about Flight Centre. Any agent can also register for the NZ ‘All Stars’ programme at www nzallstars com a11 to get your chance to go on future famils.

“The New Zealand All Stars program provides an excellent platform to engage and train twice as many travel agents as last year, while supporting our focus on promoting travel to New Zealand in autumn”.

Tourism New Zealand General Manager, Australia Tony Saunders
