To celebrate Victoria’s Secret Model He Sui and Chinese Fashion Icon Han Huo Huowill join forces with China’s popular reality television show ‘I, Supermodel’ contestants and Brisbane Roar Players Jack Hingert, George Lamadaridis and Ben Liftin to take part in a ‘Football Meets Fashion’ parade on 11 January at Queen Street Mall.

Hosted by fashion stylist Kimberly Gardner, the parade will showcase the latest sports luxe trends from top Queensland and Australian designers.

The fashion show will form part of an episode of I, Supermodel, a popular Chinese television show that attracted 60 million people during its inaugural season last year with He Sui on the judging panel.

Tourism and Events Queensland chief executive Leanne Coddington said thousands of fashionistas and football supporters were expected to watch on as international models and sporting stars take to the catwalk.

“This is an excellent opportunity to showcase the city’s love for fashion and sports, in a parade led by international superstars. Queensland is also a popular destination for many Asian holidaymakers, in particular Chinese travellers with 309,000 visiting the state in the year to September 2014.”
