Game of Thrones may be heading into its final season, but never fear, HBO has announced it will be launching a studio tour in Northern Ireland where many of the show’s most iconic scenes were filmed.

The studio tour will launch in Banbridge, Northern Ireland, from Spring 2020 within Linen Mill Studios.

It will feature original set pieces, costumes, props and weapons used to create the worlds of Westeros and Essos.

There will be a mix of behind-the-scenes insights, interactive elements and fully dressed sets.

Fans will wander in the very footsteps of Westeros’s most prominent residents, re-living key moments from the series and standing right where they took place.

The exhibit will also reveal more about Thrones production history with exhibits looking back on the show’s beginnings, development and rise to fame.

HBO’s vice president for licensing and retail Jeff Peters said the tour would be “an immersive experience where fans will feel like they are inside their favorite sets from the show.”

“Some of the most iconic scenes from Game of Thrones were filmed at Linen Mill Studios and our fans will soon have an opportunity to visit and see the work of the show’s incredible crew in the museum setting it deserves.”
