No pressure kids.

It’s common knowledge that with the royal title comes royal responsibility, but before she could even be named (which reminds me, how much do you love her name), UK’s tourism leaders have said Princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana and Prince George will be responsible for a surge in visitors to the region, particularly the capital.

The role wouldn’t require much except for both children to continue being incredibly cute, VisitLondon has estimated London will welcome nearly 32 million UK and overseas tourists this year.

This is 10 percent up on the 29.1 million record achieved in 2013 – the year Prince George was born.

Princess Charlotte and older brother George are expected to be big drivers for UK tourism.

Around 17 million of those overseas visitors made the trip to the capital, London.

VisitLondon.com said while it is impossible to predict exactly how much her the newborn will effect tourism figures, it’s clear from figures that its royal connections and attractions are key drivers in attracting people from the UK and abroad.

“We are delighted for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge on the arrival of the new princess, the news of which will make it an extra special bank holiday across London.”

On the night of the new Princess’ birth, iconic London landmarks such as the Tower Bridge and the Eye turned pink.

Within three days of being born, Charlotte Elizabeth Diana has had at least four Facebook fan pages made in her honour, including one that has over 10K likes.

What do you think, will little Charlotte Elizabeth Diana bring in more visitors?
