Yesterday New Zealand PM, Jacinda Ardern, gave the green light for the trans-Tasman travel in Q1 of 2021 and you guys are – unsurprisingly – STOKED.
Flights are available to book so it’s time to get planning and finally organise that long overdue family reunion, wedding, or holiday!

When we posted our Trans-Tasman news story on Facebook yesterday, it went loco with people from up and down the country celebrating the win, tagging, and sharing their New Zealand travel plans with us here at Karryon.
This brought huge smiles to our faces and we felt like sharing the love for both travel and each other here with you today.

Comments on our Facebook post included exclamations like “YAY! About bloody time! Pacific next please AU/NZ!”, “YES BABE YES!!!” and “Easter in NZ don’t care what it costs”.
There were many tags, instigating overdue catch ups with friends. Nicola tagger her friend Cinnamon to say “you soooooooo need a visit to Melbs” and Eliza tagging her pals Claudia and Jess to say “girls trip”.
Em was keen, looping her friend Jessika in with the comment “I HAVE A WEEK OFF IN MARCH. BOOK IT IN!”.
That’s what we like to see!
One user couldn’t contain her excitement with the wonderful comment (all in caps – obviously) saying “WEDDING PLANNING STARTS NOW!” – yay to that!
A few commenters are a little skeptical, as the bubble still needs to get past the Federal Government for approval, but as long as cases remain low in both countries and contingencies are in place, it looks like it’ll be go, go, go!
So cheers to the bubble, 2021 is looking a whole lot brighter already.
