Disneyland Paris has announced it’s going to be building more than just a snowman. Frozen fans GET EXCITED, because of the magical new ‘Frozen’ land coming to DLP in 2023.

You might have already heard about the new land, as the company unveiled plans for a $2.4 billion expansion last February, promising three Marvel-based areas, new Star Wars experiences and something to do with Frozen.

The image Disney has released of the new land shows a Scandinavian-style village centered around a lagoon and framed by a storybook castle and a snow-capped mountain.

“As part of the fully immersive land, guests will see in the distance the snow-capped mountain of Arendelle opposite a magnificent lake, with an attraction that will take them to the centre of the Kingdom,” Disneyland Paris said in a press release. “The area will also include character encounters, a new restaurant, and a shop.”

“This new, open-air development will add to the beauty and immersiveness of Walt Disney Studios Park, while providing the perfect centre stage for not only daytime shows, but also nighttime spectaculars. It will completely rejuvenate the park’s experience.”

Unofficial Disneyland Paris watchers @OutsidEars recently shared some cheeky tweets, with blueprints indicating the layout of the new addition.

“Known right now as ‘Frozen Land,’ the new land will be made up of a water attraction — similar to the one under construction at Hong Kong Disneyland — two shops, a restaurant and a place to meet the two queens of Arendelle,” the account tweeted in French.

Plans also show that Disneyland Paris will have its own version of the ‘Frozen Ever After’ ride, which opened in Epcot’s Norway Pavilion at Walt Disney World in 2016.

Disney describes the ride as a “song-filled journey,” where guests will get a chance to see many of their favorite characters as they make their way up into the mountains to Elsa’s ice palace.
