Los Angeles Tourism & Convention Board (Los Angeles Tourism) has revealed its Fall 2024 campaign, leveraging the well-known 'Now Playing' tagline to build on the momentum of Paris 2024 as the City of Angels prepares to host the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games and other major sporting events.

Los Angeles Tourism & Convention Board (Los Angeles Tourism) has revealed its Fall 2024 campaign, leveraging the well-known ‘Now Playing‘ tagline to build on the momentum of Paris 2024 as the City of Angels prepares to host the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games and other major sporting events.

The new Fall 2024 campaign will run in key domestic and global markets, including Australia, to highlight LA’s unparalleled diversity, vibrant spirit and experiences.

The ads also shine a light on a variety of LA neighbourhoods, such as Chinatown and Leimert Park, adapting Los Angeles Tourism’s tagline to ‘Now Exploring’, ‘Now Thrilling’, ‘Now Inspiring’ and, our personal fave, ‘Now Vibing’, promoting the six key product pillars: Arts & Culture, Dining & Nightlife, Shopping & Fashion, Outdoors & Wellness, Attractions & Studios and Pro Sports & Live Events.

Product-driven 30-, 15- and six-second ad spots will feature across multiple paid media platforms, including key large-format out-of-home (OOH) placements in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.

LA Tourism Senior Vice President, Brand & Digital Marketing Bill Karz said the new campaign capitalises on the excitement and energy of the Olympic Flag handover to highlight that something is always happening in LA.

“We were also privileged to feature American Paralympic athlete Blake Leeper, whose unstoppable spirit embodies LA’s essence, adding a powerful narrative to the campaign and inspiring visitors to explore LA’s limitless possibilities,” he said.
