It just became even easier to holiday in New Caledonia, as it has been announced that the country is removing its pre-departure RAT-test requirement for vaccinated travellers.

New Caledonia, Australia’s closest South Pacific neighbour, is fully open and ready to welcome fully jabbed Australian travellers back to its little corner of paradise.

And now, travellers arriving from green and orange countries, including Australia, are no longer required to take a pre-departure test before heading to New Caledonia.

A rapid antigen test (RAT) 48 hours after arrival is still required, however, this can be done for free in pharmacies in New Caledonia.
