New Caledonia has reopened to fully vaccinated Australian travellers after almost two years, meaning you can now travel to the South Pacific paradise with zero quarantine requirements.

After almost two years, New Caledonia, Australia’s closest South Pacific neighbour, is open and ready to welcome fully jabbed Australian travellers back to its little corner of paradise, without the need to quarantine.

To celebrate the reopening, Aircalin is offering fares from $529 ex Sydney and Brisbane to Noumea, on sale until 25 March 2022, with travel dates up until December 2022.

These fares include the Easter holidays – so get packing!

Aircalin will operate the following flights:

SYDNEY:

  • 2 weekly flights until March 26 (Tuesday and Saturday)
  • 3 weekly flights from March 27 (Tuesday, Friday, Saturday)

BRISBANE:

  • 1 weekly flight until March 26 (Sunday)
  • 2 weekly flights from March 27 until June 5 (Friday and Sunday)
  • 3 weekly flights from June 05. (Wednesday, Friday and Sunday)

Flights will be operated on Aircalin’s brand-new Airbus A320Neo, which the airline took delivery of in 2020 and A330Neo aircraft which were delivered in 2019.

Both aircraft offer state of the art seating and the latest LED HD Touch screen TVs, with an enhanced interactive system offering more than 90 programmes. Passengers will also be offered inflight Wi-Fi on both aircraft.

All travellers will have to undertake a PCR test less than 72 hours before travel or a Rapid Antigen Test less than 48 hours before travel.
