The kiwis are a welcoming bunch, so when the entire country is rallying together to get rid of a group of UK tourists, you know they must truly be tourists from hell.
A group of around 15 tourists from Liverpool in the UK (including young children) have been creating mayhem around the country.
It began when someone snapchatted them leaving a whole lot of rubbish behind on a reserve at Takapuna Beach.
When asked by locals to please clean up after themselves the Brits became really aggressive, even the small children and the grandmother.
The same family was later pulled over because their kids weren’t in proper car seats before police in Hamilton got called out to Burger King where the same family was harrassing staff, demanding free food and trying to walk through the drive-thu.
One of the women in the group was also arrested for stealing sunglasses and soft drinks from a petrol station. SERIOUSLY?
Here’s how an immigration official summed it up: “The family who travelled on British passports were reported for shoplifting, littering, threatening residents and causing chaos”.
Yep, no need to debate it, these are the tourists from hell.
Assistant General Manager for Immigration New Zealand Peter Devoy told media that five individuals from the group had already been served with Deportation Liability Notices, which is the first step in the deportation process.
Auckland Mayor Phil Goff has lablled the group “a bunch of a***holes”.
“Telling visitors to NZ to go home is pretty unusual behaviour by Kiwis,” he said.
“But in the case of tourists from Liverpool who have been creating mayhem around Auckland it’s totally justified”.
