Tourism leaders & government officials are making it easier for Aussies & other international visitors to organise their trips to Tanzania by moving the entire visa process online.
Yes, getting permission to go climb Mount Kilimanjaro with Bench Africa, relax in Zanzibar and explore The Serengeti just got easier.
E-visas for the United Republic of Tanzania, including Tanzania Mainland and Zanzibar, went live late last month to simplify and stimulate travel to the East African country.
Aussies looking for permission to visit the culturally and naturally rich country simply need to visit the Eservices website and select ‘apply for a new application’. From there, they fill out their details and pay a US$50 single-entry visa fee.
Tanzania Immigration Services will review online applications, process them and then notify applicants on whether they’ve been accepted or not via email. Travellers can also use the website to track their application.
Too easy!
