International travellers arriving in the Maldives are no longer required to present a negative PCR test upon arrival if they have proof of vaccination.
Double vaccinated tourists entering the Maldives are no longer required to present a negative PCR test result upon arrival, as long as the vaccination was administered more than fourteen days before departing for the archipelago.
A booster dose is not required to be eligible for this exemption.

Additionally, children older than one year of age and adults who have not completed the prescribed dose of a COVID-19 vaccine can still enter the Maldives. They simply have to present a negative PCR upon arrival, which has been taken within 96 hours of departure from the first port of embarkation.
Those travelling on work permits and local Maldivians returning home are required to do a PCR test between 3-5 days of arrival to the Maldives.
The Maldives has been a world leader in the way it has handled the pandemic, with the World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC) granting it their ‘Safe Travels Stamp’ in recognition of efforts to implement enhanced health and safety measures, in line with the WTTC global safe travels protocols.
