‘Tis the time of year when everyone is a little bit Irish. St Patrick’s Festival 2025 is set to attract more than 100,000 international visitors to Ireland as “holidays in Ireland” takes over as the most-searched online and Tourism Ireland launches a new campaign burst in Australia.

Tourism Ireland capitalises on the country’s popularity for St Paddy’s Day (17 March) with a week-long program to attract visitors and shore up the season ahead – perfect for forward bookings.

This year’s festivities include a new cover of The Corrs’ “Breathless” by Irish band Lemoncello scoring a promotional video wishing the world a “Happy St Patrick’s Day”.

Tourism Ireland Chief Executive Alice Mansergh said: “St Patrick’s Day provides a unique opportunity to showcase the very best of Ireland to the world.”

“Promotion of all we offer visitors at this time of year leads to the highest level of online research for ‘holidays to Ireland’ annually, so the spotlight for Ireland created during St Patrick’s Week tees up spring and summer travel ahead.

“This year, we are excited to bring our new St Patrick’s Day video, which is a moment to highlight that, while the world goes green for one day, Ireland’s beauty is evergreen, and we look forward to inspiring even more people to visit our island and experience its magic for themselves,” she said.
