TAKING OVER: Flight Centre TG to manage its first hotel in Vietnam

Vietnam was named one of the world’s hottest destinations this year, and it seems as though the Flight Centre Travel Group wants in on that tourism action.

As promised back in July 2017 when the Flight Centre Travel Group (FCTG) purchased its hotel management brand, BHMA, it has expanded the business into Vietnam.

FCTG’s BHMA is now the manager of 26 hotels, including the new X2 Vibe Viet Tri Hotel, a new property in Vietnam and the only one in the city of Viet Tri running under an international brand.

According to the travel group, X2 Vibe Viet Tri caters to both leisure and business travellers with its four-star facilities and convenient location of just 60 km from Hanoi’s Noi Bai International Airport.

Inside, guests will be allocated to one of 60 guestrooms, most of which come with views of Lang Lake in Viet Tri and the capital city of Phu Tho Province.

BHMA’s Managing Director, Kent Davidson, said the new property “injects a stylish offer” into Vietnam, which has been identified as one of growth.

“X2 Vibe Viet Tri Hotel complements Flight Centre’s already very strong business activities in Southeast Asia, taking advantage of the destination’s increasing business and leisure growth and promising growth projections.”

“The ideal lakefront location and proximity to airport and city is perfectly positioned to cater to today’s modern business and leisure travellers.

“We’re excited to see BHMA launching further hotel expansion into new eastern Indonesian destinations.”
