Dangerous water conditions hit popular tourist beachfront bars this week, and reportedly killed two tourists who were pulled out to sea at Padang Galak Beach in Sanur.

The two travellers are believed to have been from Hong Kong and Singapore.

Footage released by visitors in the area show the rough waves crashing over holidaymakers by an infinity pool, while images posted to social media show popular tourist spots like The Rock Bar at Ayana Resort damaged by the water.

Here is one video published to Youtube four days ago, which shows tourists running from the water as it reaches further inland.
