USA Through Film: Brand USA unveils stirring new tourism campaign with BBC StoryWorks

Brand USA and BBC StoryWorks have collaborated on a new USA Through Film content series to inspire travel through storytelling, using film and entertainment identities to share their personal tales and experiences of diverse American cities on screen.

Brand USA and BBC StoryWorks have collaborated on a new USA Through Film content series to inspire travel through storytelling, using film and entertainment identities to share their personal tales and experiences of diverse American cities on screen.

Created by BBC StoryWorks, BBC Studios’ branded content arm, the Brand USA media campaign has seven new hero videos, featuring Little Rock, Arkansas; New Orleans, Louisiana; NYC, New York; Baltimore, Maryland; Washington, DC; Chicago, Illinois; and Los Angeles, California.

The second series of USA Through Film showcases different cities, taking viewers on a journey and inspiring travel.

While the multiplatform media campaign captures the sights, sounds and spirit of diverse sites across the country.

The initial global campaign rollout (excluding the UK and US) on 12 September 2023 includes actor-songwriter Mary Steenburgen on Little Rock, director-actor Jordana Spiro on New Orleans and actor-model Yaya DaCosta on NYC.

Upcoming videos have actor Aiden Gillen on Baltimore; cinematographer Bradford Young on Washington, DC; artist and activist Common on Chicago and actor Jane Krakowski sharing her Los Angeles story.

The first USA Through Film series featured Spike Lee on Brooklyn, NY; Martha Coolidge on Seattle and John Lee Hancock on Texas.

The multi-platform series is available on BBC News, GoUSA TV and via the USA Through Film content hub on bbc.com.
