Why this sale is a great opportunity to Visit Queensland

Queensland remains a top destination for both domestic and international travellers, offering a diverse range of experiences from its vibrant cities to its unique natural wonders. Whether it’s the sandy beaches of the Gold Coast, the stunning coral reefs off the coast of Cairns, or the lush rainforests in between, there’s something for everyone.

According to Tourism and Events Queensland CEO Patricia O’Callaghan, this sale is arriving at the perfect time,

“With three quarters of Aussies really needing a holiday, and travel intentions to Queensland on the rise this spring, we are certain these airfares will be snapped up with great enthusiasm.”

The discounted flights also make it easier to travel during peak times and coincide with major Queensland events like the Brisbane Festival, Toowoomba’s Carnival of Flowers, and the Brisbane International tennis tournament in January. Nature lovers can also time their trips to witness coral spawning on the Great Barrier Reef or turtle hatching season along the coast.

Queensland’s tourism industry employs more than 260,000 people. And dccording to Queensland’s Tourism Minister Michael Healy, campaigns like this are crucial for driving visitors to the state.

“At a time when we are facing challenging cost-of-living pressures, this offer presents the perfect opportunity for Aussies to take that holiday they deservedly need, without breaking the budget.”
