As Victoria emerges from lockdown, Falls Creek and Hotham say they look forward to welcoming guests back to the resorts from Wednesday 28 July.
People of VIC, get excited! The state’s lockdown has ended and intrastate travel is back on, meaning HELLO THE SNOW!
During lockdown, both resorts received their biggest dumps of snowfall of the season to date. How good is that? It’s as if the snow fairies knew restrictions were about to ease!
With more snow in the forecast, Falls Creek and Hotham say they are looking forward to safely reopening their lifts and terrain.

VP & General Manager of Hotham, Belinda Trembath, said “We are very excited to welcome guests back to Hotham on Wednesday. We’ve received masses of snow in the last week and look forward to offering some great terrain for our guests.”
Falls Creek VP & General Manager, Richard Phillips, said “We are very excited to announce that the Falls Creek lifts will start spinning again on Wednesday. We look forward to welcoming guests back to enjoy our winter wonderland.”
With over two months remaining of the season, Falls Creek and Hotham are set to continue offering the perfect winter escape. From family-friendly events at Falls Creek including the Fireworks Fiesta, to First Tracks at Hotham.

Both resorts say the safety of guests, staff and community is, and always will be, their highest priority.
Guests are reminded of the below government requirements:
- All guests planning to visit the resort are required to return a negative COVID-19 test within 72hrs before visiting the resort.
- Masks are mandatory at all times, including indoor and outdoor areas
