The definition of sexy varies depending on the individual – some like tall, others like short, some of us like a wider set and others prefer a slimmer frame.
Each to their own.
But when it comes to the sexiest man alive, I think a fair few of us would agree that Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson is more than worthy of the title.
I mean, just look at that smile (now take the shirt off boo).
The man who went from professional wrestler to highest paid actor in 2016 was named Sexiest Man Alive by People’s Magazine this year, and while he may currently be based in the US, travellers looking for others that share his handsome nature are more likely to find them in his heritage land of Samoa.
While at this point there’s no tangible proof that Johnson receiving the prestigious title will boost tourism to Samoa or build destination awareness, Samoa Tourism’s Chief Executive, Sonja Hunter told KarryOn that there’s no better place to find those beautiful smiles and landscapes.

Described as “sweet, smart and sculpted” by People Magazine (and “damn gorgeous” by me), Johnson is the son of a Samoan mother and a black Nova Scotian father. He visited Samoa back in 2004 where he was bestowed a High Chiefly title by the late Head of State, His Highness MALIETOA TANUMAFILI II.
The ‘Fast & Furious’ actor has also served as a benefactor to Samoan causes and has donated heavily to various Samoan charities.
