Discover Qatar’s new 45-minute flight, ‘Discover Doha by Air’ will take in Doha’s iconic landmarks from the “unparalleled comfort and convenience of a light aircraft”.
Designed to cater to the “desires of the everyday explorer seeking bespoke adventures”, ‘Discover Doha by Air’ promises a fusion of adventure, thrill-seeking, and exploration.
Each tour by Discover Qatar, Qatar Airways destination management company, takes eight passengers in a Cessna 208 Caravan aircraft, designed with large windows so you can make the most of the view.
Discover Qatar Senior Vice President, Steven Reynolds, says, “Guests are invited to embark on an unforgettable journey around Doha’s skies, soaring above remarkable landscapes and cultural treasures”.
Taking off from Doha International Airport Premium Terminal, guests will fly over Al Thumama Stadium, Aspire Zone and Education City before soaring over Lusail Stadium, Al Bayt Stadium and Thakira Mangrove Forest.
The flight also takes in The Pearl Island, Al Safliya Island, Katara Cultural Village, the National Museum of Qatar, Museum of Islamic Art and Stadium 974.
The first tour is scheduled for 27 June 2024. It’s also available to those transiting for six hours or more at Hamad International Airport.
