WARNING, WARNING, WARNING: This article will make you fall more in love with Mickey, Minnie and everything Disney than you were before.

WARNING, WARNING, WARNING: This article will make you fall more in love with Mickey, Minnie and everything Disney than you were before.

Some would argue the definition of happiness is all about balance and blah-blah-blah but we don’t hear anyone disputing the fact that Disney is the reason we were put on this earth.

Whether you consider yourself a Disney nerd or you’re just really in love with ‘Let it Go’ from Frozen, check out some of the amazing facts that Disney keeps under wraps:

The Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando is approximately the same size as which famous USA city?

San Francisco!

Unreal, right? Imagine all the happiness San Fran gives you and then add every happy, tingly feeling that Disney gives you and you have the definition of a perfect holiday.

It also means you might want to pack some good footwear though; 30,500 hectares is a lot of ground to cover (unless you are Zazu)!

In which Disney park will you find Mickey Ears hidden in the roads?

All of them!

Look down and around next time you’re visiting the world of Disney.

Check the trees, the shapes of the leaves, the pebbles, the walls, the carpet, the stone seats, the street signs… they’re everywhere and you wouldn’t even know it. How many have you found?

Which Walt Disney World Resort is home to over 30 exotic animals?

It’s no other than Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge – bringing your entire Lion King fantasy to life in its African themed oasis.

Did you also know it takes up a whopping 43 hectares of land? You won’t have any trouble locating Timon and Pumba across all that space – the enormous children’s playground is themed to bring our childhood dreams (and nightmares) to life. RIP Mufasa – we miss you.

What makes the Indiana Jones Adventure ride at Disneyland Resort in California so special?

There is nothing worse than waiting in line (hint: avoid this by utilising Disney’s FASTPASS) BUT if you are one of the unlucky ones – this is a great way to kill time.

While waiting in line for the Indiana Jones Adventure, you’ll see a well with a sign attached that reads, “Caution. Do Not Pull Rope! Handling Fragile Artifacts.”

Do the opposite. You’ll hear an excavator tell you not to pull the rope. If you pull it a number of times, you’ll hear different responses and eventually a loud crash.

What type of boutique can be found inside Sleeping Beauty’s castle?

Hint: The type that makes ALL of your childhood dreams of becoming a princess or prince, come to life. The Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique is a MUST for customers travelling with children.

You can book only three months in advance but make sure you book it, or you will miss out! In real life though, it’s only recommended for children at this stage – with enough consensus though we’re sure the adult version is coming. There’s never a bad time to want to be a princess, right?
