JW Marriott Maldives Resort & Spa is located on Vagaru island in the Shaviyani atoll and marks the debut of Marriott International’s iconic JW Marriott brand in this paradisiacal island destination.

The stunning new resort features 60 spacious villas starting at approximately 234 sq. metres, which includes private pools and wooden sunbathing decks.
Each room throughout the resort draws inspiration from the natural surroundings and local Maldivian culture, incorporating colours and materials that highlight the island destination. Thatched roofs on the villas are reminiscent of inverted dhoni boats, the traditional Maldivian wooden fishing vessels, and slanted roof tips recall white herons dipping their heads into the water.

For families travelling with children, Little Griffins, a Family by JW kids club, features a 13-metre long pirate ship, kids sleeping area, a servery, games and educational activities to provide little ones with hours of fun and entertainment.
