Tickets are officially on sale (with early bird rates up for grabs) for Eurostar’s much anticipated direct journey from Amsterdam to London which starts from 30 April 2020.

The new direct Eurostar route between the Netherlands and the UK saves the need to change trains in Brussels, cutting the journey down to four hours and 10 minutes.

Initially, there will be two services a day with the aim of increasing this to three or four times daily. Eurostar tickets can be booked six months in advance.

Since Eurostar introduced a new route between London and Amsterdam in 2018, you can now travel between the two cities in a way that doesn’t involve airports, excess carbon emissions or excess luggage costs.

Also, travelling by train between London and Amsterdam means that you go straight into the heart of both cities. Travelling between the two will become easier with passport control all handled in Amsterdam.

Rail Europe has launched an Earlybird sale, applicable on trains from London to France, Belgium and the Netherlands with fares starting from $AU67. Agents can find out more details here.
