Celebrity Cruises has revealed all the juicy details and visuals for its newest ship, Celebrity Ascent, ahead of her debut in November 2023, sailing the Caribbean from December 2023 to April 2024.

Celebrity Cruises has revealed all the juicy details and visuals for its newest ship, Celebrity Ascent, ahead of her debut in November 2023, sailing the Caribbean from December 2023 to April 2024.

The fourth vessel in the ultra-modern Edge Series, Celebrity Ascent will be the newest ship out of South Florida on launch, embarking on preview cruises from 22 November.

She will set sail from Fort Lauderdale to the Bahamas, Grand Cayman, Puerto Rico and the British Virgin Islands before departing to Europe for a summer of bucket-list Mediterranean cruises in Greece, Italy, Turkey, Spain and France.

On board the cruise line’s newest resort at sea, guests will enjoy the Edge Series’ industry-first outward-facing design that maximises views and outdoor areas plus spacious staterooms catering to all travellers from solo adventurers and couples to multi-gen family groups. 

Incorporating all the features that made her sister ships one of TIME magazine’s ‘World’s Greatest Places’, Celebrity Ascent will have signature experiences such as The Theatre, The Rooftop Garden, The Spa and adults-only The Solarium.

There’s also The Magic Carpet – the world’s first cantilevered lounge and gathering space at sea, and the Resort Deck, a main pool lined with cabanas and a two-storey martini-glass-shaped hot tub.

Food, drink and entertainment highlights

On board Celebrity Ascent, cruisers will enjoy 30-plus food and beverage choices from casual to fine dining.

Culinary options include a redesigned Le Voyage by Daniel Boulud restaurant, a plant-based tasting menu at the three-storey Eden Bar & Restaurant, all-new animation and menu for Le Petit Chef dinner and a refreshed main dining experience.

The Sunset Bar, designed by US celeb interior designer Nate Berkus, and The Grand Plaza and Martini Bar – complete with an interactive chandelier, a new menu and bartender shows will also wow guests.

For nightly entertainment, cruisers can expect three new productions in The Theatre and new interactive digital experiences in The Club plus immersive shows in Eden Bar & Restaurant.

ICYMI: Closer to home, Celebrity Edge will return to Australia and New Zealand from October 2024 to April 2025.
