After a long absence, Flight Centre has returned to Westfield Liverpool in western Sydney. The store had initially been earmarked for an early October opening, but after a slightly longer-than-anticipated wait, the new shopfront is finally here. And good things come to those who wait.
New Team Leader at Flight Centre Liverpool, Cameron Saba, said he was “excited to bring travel back to the area”.
“We’re thrilled to have the famous red and white brand back at Westfield Liverpool, and to be the only travel agency within the centre is a great opportunity to make a positive impact on the local community,” he told Karryon.
While the new shopfront is a win for travellers in the area, it also represents an opportunity for travel advisors in the area to spread their wings or even for former agents who are considering a return to the industry.

“To help support this growth in our bricks and mortar retail network, we’re able to offer new Team Leader roles and other Brightness of Future opportunities to our people – and we’re keeping our recruitment team busy with plans to onboard around 100 new travel experts in the coming months,” Flight Centre Australia General Manager Brent Novak told Karryon.
“Our continued focus on growth opens up a world of possibilities for people who are new to the travel industry, as well as experienced veterans who want to work for the mighty, iconic red and white brand of Flight Centre.”

Novak said the Flight Centre Liverpool launch marks the brand’s 309th shopfront and 10th store opening in Australia this financial year “alongside new store locations including Mirrabooka in Perth, Lidcombe in Sydney, Adelaide’s Unley, Australia Fair on the Gold Coast and affluent Moonee Ponds”.
“Hobart Airport will open in early 2026,” he added.
One thing the new store can look forward to is greater autonomy on social media, as Flight Centre recently announced it would allow individual stores to have their own FC-branded social media accounts. This enables them to share content from the main FCB account and vice versa. Read more about that here.
