Calling all Star Wars fans: the grand opening of the first hotly-anticipated Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland Resort is just a few weeks away and bookings open even sooner (May 2 to be exact).

The new 14 acre Star Wars-themed park (which will be none other than the BIGGEST single-themed land ever at a Disney park) opens on May 31 at Disneyland Resort in Southern California and August 29 at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Florida.

Eagar guests who want to visit Galaxy’s Edge between May 31 and June 23, 2019, will need a reservation (this should come as no surprise because this place is going to be overrun!)

On the opening day, guests will be able to sample “galactic” food and beverages, hop on board Millennium Falcon and engage in missions, games and in-queue experiences.

For guests planning to be among the first to visit Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, details about making reservations are available on the Disney Parks Blog.

Guests staying at a Disneyland Resort hotel between May 31 and June 23, 2019, will receive a designated reservation to access Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge during their stay.

There is one reservation per registered guest and each guest is required to have valid theme park admission.
