This awesome domestic sale ties in with Qantas’ special six-day campaign to boost tourism in Kangaroo Island encouraging visitors from Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Canberra with sale fares starting from $99 one-way.

The campaign follows Qantas announcing in February it would more than double its flights between Adelaide and Kangaroo Island following the decision by Regional Express to exit the route.

The additional flights are now available for booking and will see 12 return QantasLink services per week from July which is an increase from the previous schedule of five return flights per week, and three return services during off-peak.

QantasLink CEO John Gissing said now was the time to be supporting Kangaroo Island and the best way to do that is by visiting the Island, staying there and experiencing all it has to offer.

“It’s a challenging time for the tourism industry, but Kangaroo Island remains one of Australia’s most beautiful destinations. That’s why we’re committed to supporting the local economy as it recovers with extra flights, and sales like this one,’ he said.
