Hawaii is saying thank you to Australian travel agents for their ongoing support and sales of the destination with special consultant discounts.
Mahalo Month, which launched today, is designed to show gratitude to the industry for selling and promoting Hawaiian Islands to Aussie travellers.
As part of the thank you, Hawaii’s tourism bureau is providing travel professionals with special rates and offers from Hawai‘i’s travel industry, including discount accommodation and touring options.
Special offers are available on O‘ahu, Maui, Kaua‘i, Hawai‘i Island, and Lāna‘i for travel from 1 April to 31 May 2015.
Accommodation rates start from just US$99 per night with some tours offered free of charge and 50 percent off for a guest.
In addition, there are also discounts for attractions and dining.
Hawai’i Tourism Oceania’s Ashlee Galea said agents provide ongoing support for the islands and deserve a holiday where they can experience the destination.
“The best way to learn about the Hawaiian Islands is to visit the destination and experience the people, place and culture first-hand.”
Ashlee Galea, Hawai’i Tourism Oceania country manager Australia
