There’s a fresh face in Victoria’s retail travel scene, with Helloworld Travel Waverley Gardens officially joining the brand’s growing national network.

The new store marks the next chapter for Bryan Doensen, who has also run the Helloworld Travel Wheelers Hill store since 2016.

“It’s terrific to be opening another agency, bringing on another team and adding to our amazing travel industry at a time where travel professionals are so in demand,” Doensen said.

“It was reassuring to have the support of the Helloworld team working behind the scenes to help with things like leasing arrangements, the new shop fit out and even geographical and demographical analysis to know where a new store would do well. It’s been a great result overall.”

The team includes two new-to-industry consultants who’ve completed HLO’s training program, signalling a confident multi-store expansion for the experienced owner.

“It’s fantastic to be facilitating growth and supporting a new multi-store owner in Bryan,” Helloworld Travel General Manager of Network Development Adrian Boccia said.

“This new location looks excellent, it’s in a great location and is very eye-catching within the shopping centre.

“Plus, having graduates from the HLO Travel Academy on the staff is another terrific success story.

“I am so happy for Bryan and the team. Growth of the industry and for our owner managers – you can’t get better than that.”
