We all know travel agents don’t like missing out, so why not push work aside for a moment to search the satellite for the Air Mofo plane, in the most genius competition perhaps ever invented!

You’ve probably heard of Dark Mofo, but have you heard of Mofo Foma; the epic event this competition is about?

Mona Foma is a festival by Mona in Launceston, Tassie from Friday 17 to Sunday 19 January. It’s a high-summer celebration of music, art, performance and hedonism – a ‘hot mess’, designed to exploit your sense of fun.

Cali legend, Flying Lotus 3D and Italian musical genius Ludovico Einaudi are already in the line-up and the full festival program is announced on Friday 18 October.

Early bird tickets are on sale now and General tickets go on sale Monday 21 October.

The Competition…

This comes with a warning, the competition is insanely addictive and you might spend hours trying to solve it!

It’s also super clever and definitely living up to the creativity and innovation of the festival.

Soooo, the competition is to find a purple, ‘plane-sized plane’ somewhere on this map of Tassie. If you’re the first to find it, you win it!

Air Mofo has released a bunch of clues on the Air Mofo site and their social channels too, so be sure to read them and it might point you in the right direction.

What’s up for grabs?

Karry On - Mofo Foma

Probably the biggest prize in music festival history: an entire Air Mofo Boeing 737!

Yes, you read that right. You win a charter 737 for you and 149 friends to fly you all to Mona Foma. You and your passengers will also get three-day Festival Passes, a bunch of merch, and a variety of complimentary hangovers.

Air Mofo will depart from either Melbourne or Sydney (depending on the competition winner). If you’re the winner, you’ll need to nominate one of these ports and get yourself (and your festival crew) there for the flight.

We don’t know if anyone has found the plane yet, but you have THE REST OF THE DAY AND EVENING to search for it, as the comp closes at 11:59pm TONIGHT.

So get on to it and good luck!
