The luxury Daydream Island Resort is soon make a comeback after it was hit by Cyclone Debbie last year. And you can prepare yourselves for the property to look hotter than ever.

Especially when you consider the news that the resort has just upped its total repair and renovation spend to $100 million. A $14 million increase on the original $86 million investment.

So, more spend means more swanky new features right?

Yep, that’s right. Expect spectacular pool landscaping, an absolute beach front pool, infinity pool and central lagoon style pool with an attached kids area.

There will also be an adult’s only area and a series of cabanas. Hello!

The entire entire property is getting a makeover during the refurbishment program.

Guests can also expect to see the return of the Living Reef and an expanded food and beverage offering with three restaurants and five bars across the island.

The resort’s conference facilities will also be significantly revamped and expanded.

Daydream Island has revealed that its soft opening will take place from 29 September 2018 with all resort facilities operational by 1 November 2018.

The island’s Director of Sales and Marketing Jayson Heron has also confirmed that bookings are now open.
