An Australian hotel brand is fulfilling its guests’ late night cravings by ripping the price tags off all the Kit Kat bars, miniature bottles of vodka and tubs of Pringles in the minibar.
In a move that’s bound to spur a lot of new bookings (obviously the goal), the mid-market accommodation brand is giving all guests staying at one of its hotels before 31 December 2017 access to the entire contents of their in-room minibar on the house.
That’s right, everything from sodas, bottled water, beers, cider, energy drinks, peanuts, chips, lollies and, of course, chocolate, are completely FREE!
Suddenly the relatively unknown Atura Hotels is everyone’s fave.
The free minibar is in addition to the brand’s recently introduced complimentary offerings such as free wi-fi, coffee pods for in-room coffee machines, GHD hair straighteners and designer bathroom amenities.
What?! This place has more than some of us have at home!
Atura Blacktown’s General Manager, Matthew Kent, said the property is “excited” to be able to offer its guests this “great inclusion” and expects travellers will enjoy settling in with “a few delicious snacks”.
Unfortunately, the free minibar offer doesn’t support travel trade and is only available for bookings made directly online between 13 September and 31 December 2017.
