Five-star cafe dining at the Sheraton Melbourne

Sheraton Melbourne Hotel is expanding its current food and beverage offering to include Melbourne’s first and only five star café, Little Collins Larder.

Sheraton Melbourne Hotel is expanding its current food and beverage offering to include Melbourne’s first and only five star café, Little Collins Larder.

In contrast to the standard café experience, Little Collins Larder will serve high-end items in a fresh and vibrant setting that reflects the Sheraton’s standard of service. French inspired but locally sourced, Little Collins Larder will open its doors on 12 January 2015 for guests and local visitors alike.

Situated at the ‘Paris end’ of Little Collins Street in the heart of the city’s Central Business District, the interior of Little Collins Larder has been created by Melbourne-based design practice Studio You Me.

The space is intended to make an impact, created with the knowledge that first impressions count.

Designed to meet the demands of the city, the room’s motif generates a warm but discerning environment. Custom finishes and crafted joinery elements pair with streams of natural light to foster a distinctly Parisian air.

The vibrant and bright space is all at once genuine, modern, and timeless, presenting the café as the perfect place to connect over high-quality homemade food and beverages.

The café will be overseen by Sheraton Melbourne Hotel’s Executive Chef, Kruno Velican, who boasts a successful culinary career spanning ten years and specialising in five star hotel kitchens.

As with the entirety of the hotel’s food and beverage offering, Little Collins Larder will exhibit Kruno’s creative approach and signature French inspiration.

In addition to coffee and non-alcoholic beverages, the café will serve high quality food items throughout the day.

Keeping with Kruno’s philosophy to use wholesome and locally-sourced ingredients, Little Collins Larder offers not only organic juices, soft drinks and food, but also 100 per cent certified organic rainforest blend coffee.

Café guests may appreciate the ease of the quality ‘to-go’ concept or enjoy in-café dining for a more engaged experience.

Located at Sheraton Melbourne Hotel, Little Collins Larder will be accessible from Little Collins Street and also through the ground floor of the hotel.
