From Vietnam to Phuket, Bali & Bangkok – Flight Centre Travel Group’s hotel business is picking up momentum with the management takeover of the company’s second property in Thailand’s capital.

BHMA, Flight Centre Travel Group’s (FCTG) in-house hotel management brand, announced an expansion of its presence in Thailand to include the X2 Vibe Bangkok Udomsuk Station.

As part of the agreement, BHMA will manage the property, which is currently under construction and scheduled to open its doors in 2021.

Located near Udomsuk Skytrain Station (BTS) in the heart of the popular Udomsuk precinct, the hotel will appeal to younger travellers who have “their own character”, BHMA’s Chief Executive Peter Lucas said.

“We are looking forward to expanding our presence in this thriving millennial destination.”

When X2 Vibe Bangkok Udomsuk Station opens, the CEO expects it will have a “modern, fresh and flexible” feel with public areas that can be reconfigured depending on what guests want.

The property joins the two-year-old X2 Vibe Bangkok Sukhumvit, which was FCTG’s first property in Thailand’s capital. The company also currently operates 23 hotels across three distinct brands in Thailand, Vietnam and Indonesia.
