Imagine waking up on your own private tropical island. You’d leap straight out of the suite bed and onto the pool bed to just soak in that sun all day long with absolutely no strangers (minus resort staff) to disrupt you.

You could come and go from the restaurants as you please and stuff your face without concerning yourself with the opinions of the unknown.

Now imagine doing that for an entire weekend for just AU$201 per night, per person.

Sounds ridic right? Not possible? Like an absolute joke?

Well, it’s actually true.

DoubleTree Resort by Hilton Fiji – Sonaisali Island has a special offer running right now, giving travellers exclusive access to the resort for less than the cost of an AppleWatch per person, if they just bring along 238 of their closest family and friends.

The entire island resort can be booked out for FJ$75,000 or AU$47,951 per night – which comes to around AU$201 per person, per night when you split the cost between you and your 238 travelling buddies.

The cost covers accommodation as well as a daily buffet breakfast, two-course lunch at Vulani restaurant, three-course dinner at Vulani or Tavu restaurant, plus a beachside dinner on one of the nights and one-hour sunset drinks.

Guests will also be able to choose to arrive in luxury via a coach or a private car transfer.

Now that is one EPIC party.

Of course, they’ll also have access to a private beach and one of the largest lagoon pools in Fiji. There’s a number of leisure activities to choose from such as horse riding, kayaking and paintball; or they can fork out a little extra to relax and rejuvenate at the spa.

The offer is subject to availability with a minimum two-night stay and maximum of two adults per room.

Think you could convince 238 friends to hang with you on a private island for $201 a night, per person?
