70 media and VIPs came out to witness this eye-popping slice of Japanese culture – amazing dance routines set to thumping J-Pop beats, more fluorescent colours than should ever be allowed in one place, as many lasers as can possibly fit and of course, huge futuristic robots doing battle all washed down with drinks and bento.

Contiki has brought Robots Unrivalled to Australia for the first time ever to celebrate the launch of its new 13-day Japan Unrivalled, new to Contiki’s 2015-16 Asia programme. The sold out Robots Unrivalled will see three shows run per night on Tuesday 24th and Wednesday 25th February.

“While we expected a high level of demand, we have been overwhelmed at how quickly tickets to Robots Unrivalled sold out.”

“The Official Robot Restaurant in Tokyo, which Robots Unrivalled is drawing inspiration from, is an incredible, mind-bending, once-in-a-lifetime experience and we’ve very excited to be paying homage to it in Sydney in a pop-up format.  Of course, to experience the real Robot Restaurant in its original wacky glory we recommend travelling to Japan on our brand new Japan Unrivalled trip.  The 13 day adventure gives travellers the opportunity to dine at the restaurant, which is often booked out many months in advance.”
