A design-led hotel with a quirky flair and distinctive signature service is coming to South Australia as QT Hotel prepares to open its first property in Adelaide.
Opening its doors in 2021, QT Adelaide will be QT Hotel’s 11th property and will join existing properties including QT Queenstown and QT Perth, along with forthcoming sites such as QT Auckland (2020), QT Parramatta (2021) and QT Adelaide (2021).
Longstanding QT collaborator and Interior Designer, Nic Graham, will design the property’s public spaces as well as its food and beverage outlet, which will likely embody the “work, stay, play’ philosophy.
Although specific details of Adelaide’s next boutique hotel are yet to be made public, QT Hotel did reveal that it will spend some $180 million to incorporate 200 guest rooms, extensive conferencing and events facilities as well as exciting food and bar offerings. It will also have 10 levels of unique office space designed for a new generation of employers and employees.
The Chief Executive of QT’s parent company, EVENT, Jane Hastings described Adelaide as a “missing piece” of the group’s portfolio and assured the hotel will “be a transformative project for the city of Adelaide”.
Further details regarding QT Adelaide will be announced soon. Keep an eye out for more!
