Spicers Retreats is proud to announce the acquisition of Sangoma Retreat, a luxury boutique property situated in the Blue Mountains, to its expanding portfolio.

Sangoma, meaning ‘healer’ in Zulu, embraces Spicers Retreats particular brand of relaxed luxury and brings the group to a total of nine properties, with three in New South Wales including Spicers Vineyards Estate in the Hunter Valley and Victoria Court in Potts Point, which is currently being redeveloped and is due to re-open as a Spicers Retreat in early 2016.

“Sangoma already carries many of the Spicers trademarks; a unique location, effortless service, an intimate atmosphere and world class cuisine utilising regional produce. However, like other Spicers properties it has its own distinctive character, drawing on the natural rhythms of the bush.”

Spicers Feature 2

Sangoma is as unique as it is private – with only five incredibly appointed suites, nestled amongst giant boulders and stunning eucalypts and featuring contemporary African inspired interiors. The Retreat also boasts menus featuring locally sourced produce and bistro style dining, a stunning plunge pool and spa facilities, and panoramic views of the valley below with lights of Sydney city visible on the horizon.

Sangoma will open as a Spicers Retreat on the 2nd of January 2015.
