STEP RIGHT UP: Relish in the sight of Brisbane's new Emporium Hotel

New flights, new cruise ships, a new cruise terminal and a whole lot of new hotels, including the boutique Emporium Hotel, which opened in Brisbane’s South Bank last month.

Joining the new Novotel Brisbane South Bank, Ovolo Inchcolm and W Brisbane is the ultra-luxe Emporium Hotel South Bank where guests receive a “heightened, sensory experience” with their accommodation.

The city’s newest design-driven property opened with 143 suites featuring a “blend of contemporary beauty and functionality”, premium bathing amenities, a bronze wet bar, a 55-inch mirror television and, more importantly, an extended mini bar offering premium local and international drinks.

Gulp, gulp!

Four metre-tall frangipani doors welcome visitors to the hotel lobby where they can either make their way up to their room or head to the 23-metre infinity edge pool for a dip, a drink or sweeping views of Brisbane River.

Hungry guests can either order in from the 24/hr in-room menu or enjoy a bite to eat in one of the many bars and dining facilities located downstairs from the property.

Also located near the property is Flight Centre’s HQ featuring a slide, bus-structured meetings room and more – we know where The Captain will be sleeping on his visits into Brisbane.

Conference groups will get to business in the state-of-the-art meeting and events spaces, including the grand, pillar-less Frangipani Ballroom which accommodates up to 350 cocktail style, and three purpose-built boardrooms.

“We couldn’t be more excited to reveal the new, flagship Emporium Hotel, a project of grand proportions.”

Peter Savoff, Emporium Hotel South Bank General Manager
