1. The Westin Resort & Spa Ubud, Bali

Get ready to rise at Bali’s latest tropical resort, which features signature wellness experiences as well as breathtaking scenery for the ultimate rejuvenating holiday.

Westin Hotels & Resorts has announced the opening of The Westin Resort & Spa Ubud, Bali. Located amidst rice paddies, ancient temples, and lush greenery, the new hotel is set to embrace the brand’s ethos of Eat Well, Move Well and Sleep Well, and is inviting guests to explore a restorative destination that is devoted to personal wellness and recovery.

The Westin Resort & Spa Ubud, Bali features 120 contemporary guestrooms, suites and villas, pools, a spa, bar, gym, restaurants and more.

2. Australia’s first So / Hotel coming to Melbourne in 2023

Accor has announced the debut of the SO/Hotels & Resorts luxury brand in Melbourne. Slated to open in 2023, SO/Melbourne is set to be a bold, fashionable and luxurious designer hotel, located in a prime CBD position overlooking Flagstaff Gardens.

The first SO/ branded hotel for Australia and second in the region following SO/Auckland, will boast 288 avant-garde guestrooms and suites, some with outdoor terraces, combined with exceptional signature services, social events and opulent experiences. The hotel will form part of a mixed-use development including 20,000sqm of office and co-working space.

3. Solar Egg sauna at the Icehotel

From March to May 2020 visitors to the world-unique Icehotel in Jukkasjärvi will be able to have a sauna in the award-winning Solar Egg created by the artist duo Bigert & Bergström for Riksbyggen. The collaboration focuses on climate change and humans’ role in the world’s rising temperature and its effect in the Arctic.

“We are focusing more and more of our artistry on the climate issue, and it is extremely important to point out how quickly the glaciers in the Arctic are melting, not least in Kebnekaise,”

Since the artwork and sauna were first constructed in Kiruna in Spring 2017, to celebrate the beginning Riksbyggen’s construction of 250 homes in Malmfälten, Solar Egg has become a worldwide phenomenon. Solar Egg has visited Paris, USA and Copenhagen.

4. Elang Private Residence

Bawah Reserve, one of Indonesia’ most exclusive off-grid resorts, is set to launch Elang Private Residence. Opening in May 2020, Elang is the second of Bawah Reserves six islands to be developed with the discerning earth-conscious traveller in mind.

5. Four Seasons Resort Lanai #1 Hotel in the US

Four Seasons Resort Lanai has been named #1 Best Hotel in the USA by U.S. News & World Report, the global authority in rankings and consumer advice. The 10th annual Best Hotels rankings evaluated more than 30,000 luxury properties across 400-plus destinations in the United States, Europe, Bermuda, Mexico, Canada and the Caribbean.

6. Mantra Chatswood’s multi-million dollar makeover
