Iconic American hospitality brand Hyde has debuted in Australia with the opening of Hyde Paradiso lounge and bar set on the oceanfront in Surfers Paradise on the second floor of the Peppers Soul Hotel.

The venue which is open day and night is all about cocktails by the sea, Mediterranean share plates, weekend DJs and incredible views of the ocean.

Hyde Paradiso boasts 130 seats, a 12-metre-long pink terrazzo bar, a private dining room and its own Sgroppino Bar.

Its arrival on the Gold Coast is in partnership with sbe and follows on from Accor’s acquisition of a 50% stake in sbe in October 2018.

Simon McGrath, Chief Operating Officer of Accor Pacific said they were extremely excited to open the first sbe venue for Accor in Australia.

“Hyde Paradiso will be a game changer for the Gold Coast, which is befitting of a sophisticated and energetic venue which will become the place to be and be seen by the sea.”

Hyde Paradiso’s blue, white and peach colour scheme combined with traditional Italian materials is the vision of designer Carlie Milosevic.

The venue’s creative drinks menu, on the other hand, is the work of Australia’s most awarded bartender Tim Philips-Johansson.

When it comes to the food it is based on a culture of sharing, set around bold flavours from Greek, Turkish, Italian and Moroccan cuisines, inspired by the travels of Executive Chef Joel Bryant.
